- Enter any extra holidays in the period.
Formula
Example
From 1 to 31 December with Saturday and Sunday off there are 22 or 23 working days, depending on the year; subtract 25 December if your office closes.
Common uses
- Notice periods and contract lengths
- Days left until a wedding, exam or Eid
- Rent and late payment days
- Leave and working days in a month
Working days
Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays in Pakistan vary each year and Islamic holidays depend on the moon, so subtract them yourself if they fall in the range.
Inclusive or exclusive
If you count a stay from 1st to 5th, is it four nights or five days? Turn on “include end date” when both the first and last day should count, as with leave applications.
