MEPCO Bill Calculator 2026
Work out your Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) bill from the units on your meter, using the current NEPRA residential tariff for protected and non-protected homes, with fixed charges per kW and sales tax.
How to use the calculator
- Enter the units used this month (current reading minus previous reading on your MEPCO bill).
- Enter your sanctioned load in kW. It is printed on the bill.
- Choose protected, non-protected or lifeline. The bill shows which one you are.
- Add this month's fuel adjustment per unit if you know it.
Which areas MEPCO covers
Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) supplies homes and businesses in Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Vehari, Sahiwal, Khanewal and nearby districts of South Punjab. If MEPCO is printed at the top of your bill, this page is for you.
What MEPCO customers should know
MEPCO covers the hottest part of Punjab, where ACs run for much of the year. Homes using 500 units or more are common in summer, and above 500 units the fixed charge rises to Rs 675 per kW of sanctioned load. For a large house the fixed part alone can be a few thousand rupees a month, so it is worth checking that your sanctioned load is not higher than you need.
Worked example
A non-protected home using 550 units with a 5 kW load pays 550 × Rs 40.22 = Rs 22,121 for energy, Rs 3,375 fixed charges and Rs 1,776 FC surcharge, then 18% sales tax, about Rs 32,182 before fuel and quarterly adjustments.
MEPCO bill table: 50 to 1000 units (non-protected)
