- Use a photo where the subject stands out from the background
- Good, even lighting helps more than a high resolution
- Avoid very busy backgrounds or subjects that match the background colour
- Use “Soft” edges for hair and fur, “Sharp” for products

Is it really free?
Yes. There are no credits or watermarks, because the AI runs on your own device instead of a paid server.
Why does the first run take longer?
The browser downloads the AI model (about 5 MB) once. After that it is cached and much faster.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The image is processed locally in your browser.
Why are some edges rough?
The free model is small and fast. For hair or very detailed edges, choose Soft or Very soft edges.
Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to Soft2Cloud or anyone else.
